The Nostalgic Forward
August Newsletter
Hi Classmates,
The countdown for class reunion has begun. We have some plans for Friday
evening, too if you are interested which will be on the invitation. Look
for your invitations in the mail around August 15th.
When you come to Pittsburgh, there will be a multitude of new things to see
and do and things remembered added to or rebuilt

I've created a list of places you might want to explore via the internet
before you come to familiarize yourself with what you may want to see and
do:
The Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium (fabulous now)

Carnegie Science Center on the North Side
www.carnegiesciencecenter.org
Andy Warhol Museum
www.warhol.org
Frick Museum/Clayton

John Heinz History Center

PNC Park (Pirates)
www.pittsburghpirates.com
Heinz Field (Pittsburgh Steelers). It also has a museum
http://www.heinzfield.com
http://steelers.com
Carnegie Museum (Lots of dinosaurs to see)
www.carnegiemuseums.org/carnegie
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

The Waterfront. . . what Homestead looks like now
www.waterfronttowncenter.com
The new convention center

Official Pittsburgh websites
www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us
www.pittsburghlive.com
We hope you will look into these websites so that you can really enjoy Pittsburgh
and be surprised at how much it has changed, and last, but not least, please
look at the missing classmate names and let us know if you know anyone on
it that you can at least give us a clue to finding....it's really important
since we'd like to get in touch with as many classmates as possible. Also,
please leave us a hello message on the guestbook page.
Sincerely,
The committee gang
